Description

A sculptural espresso cup hand-formed from solid stoneware clay using the traditional Japanese Kurinuki technique. Rather than being thrown on a wheel, the form is carefully carved from a single block of clay, leaving subtle tool marks and an organic, tactile surface. Each cup is one of a kind.

The Tin Collection

The Tin Collection marks the studio’s earliest body of work.

A series of tin objects exploring form and surface through casting and forming techniques.

The material is allowed to shift, bend, and settle into its own expression. Variations in form and surface are carried through as part of the work.
